Spring is on the way
After a few sunny February days, it feels like Spring is on the horizon.
Daylight hours are longer, the birds are singing and the bulbs are sprouting.
It's the perfect time to plan and prepare for spring.

Planning Spring decoration - don't forget to look at our recent Fabric Spotlight.
This month's focus is on one of our most beloved multi colour prints - Tulips & Roses.
Delve into the 8 colour print to see what we love to pair with it - layer in our rooms with rugs & upholstery through to ceramics, flowers and books.
Scroll down for a seasonal Rhubarb recipe tip too.

Soak your sweet peas in water for 24 hours prior to sowing.
Sow into root trainers, grow bags or pots.

RHUBARB RECIPE
It's the season for rhubarb and it may be a little early to be picking from the veg beds so we were lucky to source Yorkshire Forced rhubarb from the greengrocers.
If you find yourself with a generous bunch of Rhubarb -
Slice the rhubarb into chunks
Simmer in a pan with 50g butter, 50g sugar and a tablespoon of vanilla bean paste.
After 10 minutes, you will have a glossy perfect pink serving of cooked rhubarb.
We served ours with crepes and crème fraiche for Pancake day.
