Fabric Spotlight - Charcoal
Layering our designs in a charcoal palette creates a sense of calm and modernity. In a room layered with a disciplined approach to colour there is a feeling of calm.
Layering prints, juxtaposing solid stripes, gentle florals all in the same palette placed on top of and around neutral pieces of furniture and decoration will immediately make a space feel more 'grown up'.
Wallpaper
Dressing your walls in charcoals can be softened with a disciplined use of colour. Pops of gold in picture frames, gentle tones of paint for trimmings and collections of accessories that wash some colour into the room create a space that feels welcoming.
Gold, mustard yellow paint and cheerful daffodils can all change the feeling of the room with relative ease.

Calm Spaces
Antiques can easily be updated with lime washes, allowing the patina of age to shine through. Our fabrics have also been designed with 'friendship' colours such as charcoal & French blue who sit comfortably together.
Zinc, terracotta with a beautiful patina with silver & green & white will lift the space while natural floor coverings will ground a room.
Upholstery and soft furnishings can lift the space using plain charcoals and natural linens layered with patterned cushions.

Paint Colours
Lime paints have a richness in their texture. Here are some of our picks to sit with charcoal colour schemes.
Pollyanna Johnson
Pollyanna had been creating limited edition ceramic pieces, handmade and painted by her. These domestic objects are intricately painted, and primarily consider women that have escaped the walls of the gallery, overcrowded by the male gaze of the painters and paintings that once surrounded them.
