The faint fragility of Hatley Dove, printed onto white linen, is exquisitely dreamlike and enchanting. The faded pallor lends a nostalgic poignancy, while the subtle and soft grey palette dictate that it can slip seamlessly into almost any decorative scheme, unobtrusive yet enhancing. Indeed, such understatement means that we can just as easily see Hatley Dove used variously as refined heavy lined curtains as we can imagine her as a light linen table cloth, softly pooling onto the floor.
