Our Dover Dress in Christina Rose organic cotton, with its divine posies that leap joyfully across the fabric, is perfectly painterly in its sensibility. A dream of a dress, it takes the architecture of the utilitarian pinafore and then twists the convention by loosening the structure so that it hangs beautifully. Adding dark olive-hued velvet ribbons at the sides which thread through loosely ruffled belt loops. Fastened at the top with simple covered buttons, it is can be worn year-round, whether with a T-shirt for sunnier gambols through meadows or with a knit layered underneath for the cooler months. Model is 5'9 and a UK size 10.

Christina Rose

Hand drawn and then hand printed on 16 screens, Christina Rose is named after our beloved founder. It is hand printed onto soft organic cotton on long printing tables in a small printer in India. They specialize in printing beautiful cottons and silks and have been honing their craft for generations.

Each piece is then hand cut and sewn into our beautiful garments. Beautiful and blousy like a colourful chintz it pairs perfectly with our cashmere and Fair Isle.
